News Update: 8th January 2008 - Busy New Year for Yes!
Yes Dining have started 2008 strongly with the signing of three major new contracts.
The National Archives in Kew sees Yes Dining investing in an extensive refurbishment of the entire catering operations which includes a public restaurant, a coffee bar, a separate staff restaurant, and hospitality services. In addition to catering for 600 staff Yes will be providing restaurant & coffee bar services for 140,000 public visitors a year at this prestigious site in it’s own grounds on the bank of the river Thames.
Yes Dining have also agreed a contract with Bristol City Council for the prestigious Council House building in Bristol city centre. The contract, starting in February, will see Yes provide staff restaurant facilities for the 1000 staff on site as well as catering for weddings, conferences, & events in the magnificent conference hall.
Additionally Yes signed contracts in December to provide catering services to a major construction company in the south west.
The flurry of new contract awards follows a highly successful 2007 for Yes Dining which has seen the design, build, & launch of restaurant and coffee lounge facilities at the new UK head office of global pharmaceutical company Merck Serono. In November 2007 Yes Dining also became the catering partner of Eurostar at the new multi million pound engineering centre at Temple Mills in London.

News Update: 16th July 2007. New Contract in Middlesex
Yes Dining have been awarded the contract for the UK head offices of a major pharmaceutical company. The contract, due to start in August, sees Yes working in partnership to design, build, & operate a staff restaurant along with offering hospitality & vending services.
News Update: 12th July 2007. Contract Gain in Essex
Yes Dining have secured another new contract in Essex. This new deal will see Yes operating a public facing restaurant & hospitality services.
News Update: 10th July 2007. Expanding into the South West
Yes Dining continues to focus on the south & midlands with the award of a local government contract in the south west. The new contract will see Yes Dining delivering hospitality services, weddings & external functions, along with staff dining.
News Update: 20th December 2006. Two New Sites for Thurrock
Yes Dining have entered into a partnership at two new sites with Thurrock Council. The deal sees Yes Dining catering for up to 900 staff at Thurrock’s Civic Offices and operating a public facing café on a busy street at another of the Council’s buildings. Both of the sites are branded Yes Café which is Yes Dining’s contemporary café brand that focuses on quality fresh food & Fairtrade products.
News Update: 15th December 2006. Executive Lounge for Yes!
DiamondAir International has chosen Yes Dining as their catering partner for a new Executive Lounge at Heathrow Airport. DiamondAir International provide VIP airport services at over 300 airports worldwide including departures, arrivals, meet & assist, private plane charters, chauffeur services, & close protection security. Their core business is with the British music industry but they have a client base including VIP’s, executives & high profile individuals. The new lounge comprises a fully air-conditioned spacious facility with lounge seating, a quiet room, a Private VIP Lounge, an IT area, luxury shower suites, bar and food servery, dining area, conference room, TV area, flight information monitors and fully equipped & supervised children’s room. A full menu service along with snacks & drinks will be available throughout the day. The lounge will be opening in mid January.
News Update: 17th July 2006. Small Supplier of the Year 2006
Ladbrokes plc have awarded Yes Dining their Small Supplier of the Year Award 2006. The award was given at a Ladbrokes in the Community Charitable Trust fund raising event in York over the weekend. Announcing the award Ladbrokes’ Buying Director, Scott Digby-Seaman, cited Yes Dining’s service delivery of the catering facilities at their head office & the speed & quality of the mobilisation of a number of coffee shops on behalf of Ladbrokes’ at the start of this year.
Receiving the award Andy Coupe, Operations Manager for Yes Dining, said ‘It’s fantastic that Ladbrokes recognise their suppliers in this way. The award is entirely down to the energy & commitment of our on-site Team & I am privileged to be receiving it on their behalf’.
News Update: 10th July 2006. Yes Dining Grows into the Highlands!
Yes Dining have opened a café operation in partnership with sister company Supply Direct Ltd & one of their NHS clients at a newly opened hospital in the Highlands.
Yes Dining have supported the in house catering team with training, branding, product specification, & operating procedures to help them deliver a high street style offer. The new café caters for both patients & NHS staff through separate service points & has so far received acclaim.
Iwona Jakubiak, Yes Dining’s Support & Training Manager, commented ‘It is great to be involved in such a wonderful project. We have received such a warm welcome from everyone at the NHS & we are helping them to deliver a catering offer that meets the high standards of such a great new hospital’.
